Außerbrunner is 2543 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.0 km east-southeast of peak Hollenzkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Kasseler Hütte, located 4km west-northwest. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 1.0 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Grasleitenkees, 4 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Frankbachkees - Vedretta di Rio Franco.
