The peak is located in country Austria 5 km east-southeast from the center of Ginzling and 9 km south-southeast from the center of Finkenberg and 0.7 km south of peak Floitenturm. The nearest mountain hut is Greizer Hütte, located 4km south-southeast. A little further is hunting cottage Jagdhütte Wandegg. 5 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Lappenkees, 6 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Mörchnerkees.
