Friderich is 2638 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 3 km north-northwest of peak Zsigmondyspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Maxhütte, located 2km west-northwest. A little further is hunting cottage Jagdhütte Wandegg. 5 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Mörchnerkees, 7 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Schwarzensteinkees.
