Description:
Dunkle Spitze is 2479 meter high peak and is part of the Tux Alps. The peak is located 3 km northwest from the center of Hintertux and 4 km west from the center of Madseit. The nearest mountain hut is Stoankasern, located 1.9km northeast. bivouac Knappenlöcher is also relatively close. 7 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Federbettkees. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Tuxertal.
