Description:
Gschützspitze is 2717 meter high peak and is part of the Tux Alps. The peak is located 3 km west-northwest from the center of Hintertux and 4 km west from the center of Madseit. The nearest mountain hut is Stoankasern, located 3km northeast. A little further is bivouac Knappenlöcher. 6 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Federbettkees, 6 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Gefrorene Wand Kees.
