Filzenkogel

Description:
Filzenkogel is 2227 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 4 km south-southwest from the center of Brandberg and 4 km south-southeast from the center of Mayrhofen. The nearest mountain hut is Edelhütte, located 1.2km east. Andreas-Hofer-Hütte is also relatively close. 7 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Kainzenkarkees. South of the summit is the valley Stillupgrund.
