Description:
Gamskarspitze is 2098 meter high peak and is part of the Karwendel Mountains. The peak is located 5 km south-southwest from the center of Pertisau and 5 km northwest from the center of Stans and 1.6 km east of peak Rappenspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Sennhütte Jausenstation Falzturn, located 3km north-northwest. A bit closer is Ochsenkaralm, which is located 0.6km to the southeast. The peak is located northwest of the valley Stallental. The peak is located on the ridge Stanser-Joch-Kamm.
