Großer Koppenkarstein

Description:
Großer Koppenkarstein is 2863 meter high peak with a cross and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located in country Austria 3 km east-southeast of peak Hoher Dachstein. The nearest mountain hut is Dachsteinsüdwandhütte, located 2km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Modereck. 0.5 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Edelgrieß Gletscher, 0.8 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Schladminger Gletscher. The peak is located north of the valley Preunegg.
