Schmiedstock

Description:
Schmiedstock is 2650 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 0.2 km east-southeast of peak Hohe Gamsfeldspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Glös-Alm, located 3km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Ramsau Stierer. 2 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Schladminger Gletscher, 5 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Großer Gosaugletscher. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Preunegg.
