Gumitzkogel

Description:
Gumitzkogel is 1494 meter high peak and is part of the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km northwest from the center of Altaussee and 7 km east-northeast from the center of Sankt Agatha. The nearest mountain hut is Lambacher Hütte, located 1.7km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Lupitsch Ort. 5 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Altausseer See. North of the summit is the valley Rettenbachtal.
