Description:
Hoher Kogel is 3042 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 3 km west-southwest from the center of Plangeross and 9 km southeast from the center of Feichten. The nearest mountain hut is Kaunergrathütte, located 2km northwest. A little further is Plangeroßalm. 3 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Wazebachferner, 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Plangeroßferner. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Pitztal.
