Kaunergrathütte is a mountain hut at an altitude of 2817 meters in the Ötztal Alps. The mountain hut is located in country Austria 5 km west from the center of Plangeross and 6 km southeast from the center of Feichten. The nearest peak is Jochspitze, which is located 0.8km zahodno-severozahodno. 0.6 km west from the mountain hut there is glacier Planggeroßferner, 1.0 km southwest from the mountain hut there is also glacier Plangeroßferner. East of the mountain hut is the valley Pitztal. The mountain hut is located below the ridge Kaunergrat.
