Description:
Schwabenkopf is 3379 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 0.9 km west-northwest of peak Verpeilspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Kaunergrathütte, located 1.8km southeast. And Watzeberg hunting lodge is also close by. 0.8 km east from the summit there is glacier Oberer Verpeilferner, 0.8 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Unterer Verpeilferner. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Kaunertal. The peak is located above the ridge Kaunergrat.
