Verpeilspitze is 3423 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 1.7 km north-northeast of peak Watzespitze. The nearest mountain hut is Kaunergrathütte, located 1.2km south. And Plangeroßalm is also close by. 0.5 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Oberer Verpeilferner, 0.8 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Neururer Ferner. The peak is located east-southeast of the valley Kaunertal. The peak is located on the ridge Kaunergrat.
