Schwabenjoch

Description:
Schwabenjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3196 meters in the Ötztal Alps. The saddle is located 0.5 km east-southeast of peak Schwabenkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Kaunergrathütte, located 1.4km south-southeast. Watzeberg hunting lodge is a bit further away. East-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Oberer Verpeilferner, 0.6 km north-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Unterer Verpeilferner. The saddle is located east-southeast of the valley Kaunertal. The saddle is located on the ridge Kaunergrat.
