Description:
Saß is 2783 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 3 km west-northwest from the center of Plangeross and 8 km east-southeast from the center of Feichten. The nearest mountain hut is Kaunergrathütte, located 2km west. A bit closer is Plangeroßalm, which is located 1.8km to the east-southeast. 0.7 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Mainzer See. 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Unterer Verpeilferner, 3 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Plangeroßferner. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Pitztal.
