Description:
Weißer Kogel is 2678 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 2.0 km south-southeast of peak Gamezkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Kaunergrathütte, located 3km southwest. A little further is Plangeroßalm. 2 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Totenkarferner, 3 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Schweikertferner. The peak is located southwest of the valley Pitztal.
