Hoher Riffler is 3231 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 4 km south-southeast from the center of Hintertux and 6 km south from the center of Madseit. The nearest mountain hut is Friesenberghaus, located 1.7km south. And hunting cottage Jagdhütte Wandegg is also close by. 0.5 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Schwarzbrunnerkees, 0.6 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Federbettkees. The peak is located northwest of the valley Zamser Grund.
