Description:
Klauskogel is 1151 meter high peak and is part of the Mürzsteg Alps. The peak is located 6 km east from the center of Frein an der Mürz and 7 km south from the center of Kernhof. The nearest mountain hut is Waxenegghütte, located 2km south-southwest. A little further is Forsthaus. East of the summit is the valley Waldebengraben. The peak is located above the ridge Steinalpl.
