Kleiner Trögler is 2885 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 11 km southwest from the center of Volderau and 11 km southwest from the center of Gasteig. The nearest mountain hut is Sulzenauhütte, located 1.6km east. A little further is Winterraum. 2 km south from the summit there is glacier Fernerstube, 3 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Fernauferner. Northeast of the summit is the valley Unterbergtal.
