Description:
Monte Iauer is 1089 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 3 km southwest from the center of Platischis / Plestišča and 3 km south-southeast from the center of Taipana / Tipana. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio A.N.A. Monteaperta, located 8km north. A bit closer is Cornappo, which is located 6km to the north-northwest. Northeast of the summit is the valley Krnica.
