Nördliche Malhamspitz is 3373 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.6 km south of peak Hintere Gubachspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Kleine-Philipp-Reuter-Hütte, located 3km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Blinigalm. 1.3 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Umbalkees, 2 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Simonykees. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Umbaltal.
