Südliche Malhamspitze is 3326 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 0.4 km south-southwest of peak Mittlere Malhamspitz. The nearest mountain hut is Kleine-Philipp-Reuter-Hütte, located 3km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Blinigalm. 1.5 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Umbalkees, 3 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Simonykees. The peak is located north of the valley Umbaltal.
