Description:
Östlicher Hochwart - Monte Guardia Alta Est is 3068 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 7 km west-northwest from the center of Oberlappach and 7 km north from the center of Pfunders - Fundres. The nearest mountain hut is Hochfeilerhütte, located 1.6km northwest. Walter-Brenninger-Biwak is also relatively close. 1.9 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Gliederferner - Ghiacciaio del Gran Pilastro, 2 km north from the summit there is also glacier Weißkarferner - Vedretta della Quaira Bianca. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Schlegeisgrund.
