Description:
Obere Weisszintscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3183 meters and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 0.6 km north-northeast of peak Niederer Weißzint - Punta Bianca Bassa. The nearest mountain hut is Edelrauthütte, located 1.8km south. bivouac Hochferner-Biwak is also relatively close. South-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Weißzintferner - Vedretta della Punta Bianca, 0.5 km west-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Gliederferner - Ghiacciaio del Gran Pilastro. The saddle is located south of the valley Schlegeisgrund.
