Description:
Salzkopfl is 2935 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.0 km south-southeast of peak Hoher Weißzint - Punta Bianca. The nearest mountain hut is Edelrauthütte, located 1.8km south-southwest. bivouac Hochferner-Biwak is also relatively close. 0.7 km west from the summit there is glacier Weißzintferner - Vedretta della Punta Bianca, 1.2 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Gliederferner - Ghiacciaio del Gran Pilastro. North of the summit is the valley Schlegeisgrund.
