Description:
Rettenzink is 2505 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.4 km north-northeast of peak Vorderes Spitzbrett. The nearest mountain hut is Gleiwitzer Hütte, located 0.8km south-southeast. bivouac Radlrastplatz Karprun is also relatively close. 0.5 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Brandlsee. 5 km south from the summit there is glacier Walcher Kees, 7 km south from the summit there is also glacier Wielingerkees. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Käfertal.
