The nearest mountain hut is Grohmannhütte - Rifugio Vedretta Piana, located 2km southwest. A little further is Schafhütte. 0.6 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Feuersteinferner - Vedretta di Montarso, 1.7 km north from the summit there is also glacier Simmingferner. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Ridnauntal.
