Sammetkogel

Description:
Sammetkogel is 2049 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 7 km northeast from the center of Neuberg and 7 km north-northeast from the center of Filzmoos. The nearest mountain hut is Hofpürglhütte, located 2km west-southwest. Lederingalm is a bit further away. 4 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Großer Gosaugletscher, 7 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Schladminger Gletscher. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Preunegg.
