Sattel - Monte dell'Argento is 2856 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 3 km north-northeast from the center of Sulden - Solda and 6 km southeast from the center of Stilfserbrücke - Ponte Stelvio. The nearest mountain hut is Düsseldorfer Hütte (Zaytalhütte) - Rifugio Serristori, located 1.8km east-southeast. bivouac bench is also relatively close. 4 km east from the summit there is glacier Ofenwandferner/Vedretta del Forno, 5 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Rosimferner - Vedretta di Rosim.
