Description:
Schafkogel is 2097 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km east-northeast of peak Brandberger Kolm. The nearest mountain hut is Klammer's Jausenhütte, located 1.8km north-northeast. And Karlalm is also close by. 6 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Ebener Kees, 7 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Schönachkees. The peak is located south of the valley Gerlostal.
