Description:
Schneehorn is 3062 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 8 km north-northeast from the center of Schachnern and 8 km northeast from the center of Pockhorn and 0.6 km west-northwest of peak Hocharn. The nearest mountain hut is Zittelhaus, located 3km southeast. Closer is bivouac Otto-Umlauft-Biwak, which is located 0.8km to the west-northwest.
