Pilatusscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2905 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 2 km south-southeast of peak Hocharn. The nearest mountain hut is Zittelhaus, located 0.6km east-southeast. bivouac Otto-Umlauft-Biwak is also relatively close. 7 km southeast of the saddle there is lake Weißsee. 0.8 km north-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Pilatuskees, 3 km north-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Krumlkees. The saddle is located above the valley Kleinfleißtal.
