Stange

Description:
Stange is 2705 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 7 km south-southeast from the center of Feichten and 7 km south-southeast from the center of Kaunertal and 1.9 km west-northwest of peak K2. The nearest mountain hut is Kaunergrathütte, located 4km northeast. A bit closer is Watzeberg hunting lodge, which is located 2km to the northwest. 1.6 km east from the summit there is glacier Wazebachferner, 3 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Madatschferner. The peak is located east of the valley Kaunertal.
