Description:
Tristenspitz is 2930 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km south of peak Schneewinkelspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Mooshütte, located 3km southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Kaponig-Biwak, which is located 1.6km to the northwest. 6 km north from the summit there is glacier Trippkees, 6 km north from the summit there is also glacier Winkelkees.
