Vordere Sommerwand

Description:
Vordere Sommerwand is 2715 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 1.8 km northwest of peak Östliche Knotenspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Franz-Senn-Hütte, located 1.4km north-northeast. And bivouac Felsvorsprung is also close by. 0.8 km north of the peak there is lake Unterer Sommerwandsee. 1.9 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Sommerwandferner, 3 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Alpeiner Kräulferner. Northeast of the summit is the valley Oberbergtal.
