Vorderer Gjaidstein

Description:
Vorderer Gjaidstein is 2414 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 8 km south from the center of Hallstatt and 8 km south-southwest from the center of Obertraun. The nearest mountain hut is Simonyhütte, located 2km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Modereck. 3 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Schladminger Gletscher, 4 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Großer Gosaugletscher. The peak is located south-southwest of the valley Koppental.
