Description:
Wildenkogel is 3021 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km north-northeast of peak Hohe Achsel. The nearest mountain hut is Badener Hütte, located 4km southwest. Vorderofnerhütte is a bit further away. 2 km west from the summit there is glacier Karleskees, 4 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Kristallwandkees. The peak is located above the valley Gschlößtal. The peak is located above the valley Gschlößtal.
