Obviously we listened to the weather forecast and so quite a few of us enjoyed windless sunshine this morning in front of the closed hut. Luckily I quickly headed down to the valley, at 11 it was already pouring in K.B. like out of buckets.

The trail is dry, only a little below the hut you need to cross one snow patch ca. 20 m.

Visit to Ledine and a bit higher on this day is already traditional for me, but since it rained in the morning and throughout the day, despite threatening clouds I decided for a quick afternoon jump to Kranjska hut on Ledine... In less than an hour up the hunters' path, short chat with caretakers, tea and return past memorial plaque to valley. Weather held, just upon return at parking it sprinkled a bit .

Short morning hop to Ledine... up Slovenian path, in hut pleasant chat with warden, then quick down hunting path... of course obligatory stop at memorial plaque... today exactly 40 years from helicopter accident that took three lives...

Hi Valerija, path is completely dry, so just happily on your way. Under the top there's a bit longer snow tongue, but path goes nicely by... so - if you want snow play, go a bit off path. But yeah, quite a bit lower you really need 2 meters' length over snow or path goes nicely under snow patch ... so: path dry and totally ok!

This morning from home in Kamniška Bistrica to Kamniško Saddle... Path is fine. Weather cloudy, occasionally cleared a bit and sun peeked out... and a little breeze is standard at these heights, right? Anyway, nice morning hike.

Just back from Grintovec via Glihkar. Started at 6:10 from in front of the home in Kamniška Bistrica, at Kokrško sedlo greeted in the hut for a couple of minutes, at the top at 9; by footprints (yes, a bit of fresh snow fell overnight) judging first today... wasn't really rewarded with views, mists were smoking around and enveloped all surrounding peaks. Possibly nicer later. It was windy and cold, so didn't linger at the top and just turned around and went back to the saddle... well, managed to take a few pictures, will have to return for the views .

Otherwise the path is ok.

Just back from Brana. From the saddle on the path still ca. 30 meters in length of softened snow to cross, otherwise nice footprints, no panic. Can also bypass on scree a bit lower. Otherwise no snow, below summit already nicely off the path, path ok.

No need for crampons, just a bit of caution when crossing the snowfield.

Hunting path is open.

Today I went via Slovenska to Ledine. The path is dry, only before entering the wall you have to cross a snowfield across its width, about 20 meters. Otherwise ok. The hunting path is being renovated, making new ladders etc.

Hi, today we were at the Czech hut and on Ledine (through the gorge). The path is nice, well secured, but watch out for stones that others can dislodge. Snow is touchable on the scree before the gorge.
