Hello! I don't exactly know your abilities (I think no one but you knows them). My personal opinion is to wait with the visit until the next calendar year. Days are getting shorter, fog can surprise you, temperatures are already low enough that a thin layer of ice can form on the fixed cables and path, which can be very unpleasant. If you decide anyway, safe travels and good luck!

Thanks for the reply. The offer in this area is expanding here, but prices are still relatively high. Board, bindings, skins - from 1000EUR up. If we add quality boots with crampon option.. .. ..

Hello! A bit off topic.. I'm interested where you bought the splitboard (given the poor offer here)? LP

@vukovivek - Thanks for info. I walked the trail on Sunday, during the way my phone battery failed, so I couldn't record distance and elevation to the end. One more of my photos.

Vukovivek great, congratulations. I'm interested if you have data on the trail length (since you attached GPS track on picture 19 you probably do?) and elevation gain you did on this loop trail.

Hi! I'd suggest thinking about day 4. Why climb back to Okrešelj and then continue to Brana? What if you reverse a bit and still sleep on day 3 at Koča pod slapom Rinka (i.e., when you arrive from Skuta). Then go to Koča na Klemenči jami and continue on Kopinškova pot to Ojstrica (if descending via Turski žleb path, this uphill probably [judge yourself] not too hard). From Ojstrica descend towards Korošica and branch to Škarje. Then continue to Planjava (can visit Lučko Brano 2244 m before). Descend to Kamniško sedlo where you sleep. Last day go to Brana (1h) and then descend to Kamniška Bistrica. Pictures and description for the path you'd do on day 4 ("Logarska dolina - Ojstrica - Škarje - Planjava - Kamniško sedlo") here: Na Razpotju - Ojstrica (Kopinškova pot): http://www.hribi.net/izlet/na_razpotju_ojstrica_kopinskova_pot/3/146/1725 Škarje - Planjava (last part of description): http://www.hribi.net/izlet/planina_podvezak_planjava_cez_skarje/3/80/2601

Anyone have experience with Deuter Guide or Black Diamond Speed? Besides these two I'm also checking out Osprey Mutant. Thanks in advance for any opinion.

Interesting. Mine started stinking both Craft and Mammut ones. And I don't sweat excessively.. My experiences.

We have it too. Excellent thing! Since batteries (3xAAA) are on the back, might have some trouble mounting on helmet (but possible - tested). Otherwise you can simply adjust light intensity and beam width (which seemed quite important to me at purchase). Recommend.

Both Iron Cruiser and Easy Rider are excellent (tested both in practice). The only difference is in the connectors, which are easier to handle on the Easy Rider model. Switching on the Iron Cruiser model is a bit more tedious because the connector opens with a twist of the protector. Easy Rider connectors release more easily - just with pressure. We've owned both kits for two years and are very satisfied. One reason to buy might be that Black Diamond is one of the few manufacturers not involved in self-protection kit recalls so far.

Today ascent via Železarska path, descent via Grofovska. Železarska path wet / muddy, while the condition on Grofovska is exactly the opposite. On the slopes and meadows below the hut, daffodils are wonderfully blooming in white and yellow.

Hi! I don't know the road conditions to the upper parking lot, so I advise you to start in Podpeča. There might be some snow patches on the secured path, so I recommend that you choose the right (easy) variant at the junction above the saddle. Based on the view from Uršlja gora, you can expect only some small snowfields, which are definitely not difficult. Lp
