I bought inook VXm snowshoes yesterday, tomorrow I'm going to test them for the first time on Veliki Javornik(Ženiklovec).

Tomorrow it will warm up a bit above zero at 1500m, probably no problem with sinking into the snow?

I'm interested in what the conditions are now for the ascent to Ženiklovec from Dom pod Storžičem.

I would go on the tour on Wednesday with nice sunny weather, is the path trodden enough to go on foot without snowshoes?

Yesterday I was on the trail between Komna and the Triglav Lakes valley.
Otherwise gorgeous autumn colors!

I was yesterday(12.8.) in Ankogel group, the day before slept in Hannoverhaus(2720m).
Weather in the morning was cold and windy,Ankogel was in fog and clouds.
Got only to Little Ankogel(3097m) which was in thick fog,and the ridge to Ankogel was in fog too so didn't risk going further as couldn't see more than 10 meters ahead.

Ankogel will wait a bit when nice weather comes.

Here you can look at the weather in more detail for a few days, like temperature, amount of precipitation, thunderstorm chance, wind etc.

When you open wetterzentrale, go to GFS-ENS, then to GFS (on the left side) and find what interests you.

Most precise forecasts up to 4-5 days, the rest always changes, GFS maps go up to 15 days.

Hribovc Canon sx240hs camera is not a bad choice if you take it, and Olympus is good too.

I previously had compact Olympus sp560, it was super, although bigger camera than that SZ-15.

Only the old Olympus fell on the lens, in the end it couldn't be repaired, so I got Nikon coolpix P100.
