Yes, the path is under water, trodden to the right of the path. Also further from the hut one part of the path is under water, need to go a bit higher up and after the bridge you get back to the path. It's trodden and nicely traceable.

Finally a nice sunny day which we used to visit the Triglav Lakes valley. Of course check the larches.
We started at Planina Blato and via Fužinarske Planine to Double Lake. It's very high, so before the hut the path goes higher through the scrub, to the hut via a small bridge behind the hut.
Further to Ledvička Lake.
Larches have mostly shed quite well, probably due to the wind last week. But in places you can still get those "real" golden colors.

The Seven (to the hut) were really crowded today. Lots of foreigners, but plenty of us too. The path over Komarča is entirely dry except a couple of insignificant sections in Lopučniška valley. A bit more snow before the hut, but all mostly flat. In short, no need for winter gear. Probably not from Blato direction either, as people came from there too, and below Štapci everything is dry.

For planning a tour I'm preparing for summer when huts are open, interested in: is there any source of drinking water at Dedno Polje? I know there's a trough by the path at the signpost. Is the water there drinkable or is the trough just for cows (never seen water being filled there when I was)? Is there anywhere else to get water at Dedno Polje?

Thanks for help

@mavi12
Not quite sure about that trough, but they'll let you fill a bottle at one of the settlements where they also have food and drink. I assume you'll come from Planina pri Jezeru direction, where you can fill a whole canister if you want, so I don't see urgent need to refill at Dedno polje, as at Seven Lakes you'll get unlimited water again.

Thanks for the advice! Specifically interested in Dedno polje, because I wouldn't go to Seven Lakes already in the morning but only on the way back in a loop tour. In the morning I'd go via Za Kopico valley to Kanjavec and wondered where the last point to fill water is so I start with as light backpack as possible nasmeh For Planina pri Jezeru I know there's option to get water.

Hello!
Planning a two-day tour, overnight at Koča pri Triglavskih. Plan is:
Day 1: Zadnjica-Dolič-Kanjavec-Vrata via Hribarice-Koča pri Triglavskih (past Zelnarica, Kopica, Tičarica)- sleep. TIME approx. 9h
Day 2: Koča pri Triglavskih past all lakes to Prehodavci and to Zadnjica valley. TIME approx. 5h
Can experienced advise if ok, what to change. Is timing roughly like that or optimistic? Fitness and experience ok, not runners nasmeh
Thanks and best!

Suitable tour for those in shape, maybe a detour to Zelnarica, Kopica and Tičarica - so along the ridge.
I wish you safe steps.

My experience with multi-day hikes is that for the first day I plan much less walking and more on following days. First day always the heavy backpack weighs me down, still need to drive to start, summer heat etc. Next days no problem walking all day, body is used to it. Personally I'd swap the schedule of both days, first day less, second more. Matter of personal choice of course. nasmeh

With my daughter today did this trail from planina Blato to Ledvička, then on the way back turned to Štapce and to Mala Tičarica and then descent to Ovčarija, etc. Gotta praise her she walked bravely, no whining, except towards end of 23km trail that toes hurt a bit. Nothing unusual given that stone pounding on ruined path. Trail otherwise ok, just more ruined to Dedno polje. Then better. Markings still plenty, but from double lake increasingly faded, sometimes almost gone.
Quite some folks, 3/4 foreigners. Languages everywhere, same plates. Price still 20€ at toll, barrier up at least 30sec after passing. Could sneak by.
Then good hour dip in Bohinj Lake, refreshes with 24C. Plenty folks, mostly foreigners

Return trip collapse over Bled. After 3 years passing here, almost stroke, what state... zmeden

Bottom line: 9h, 23km, 1200m ascent unforgettable experience for 9.5yo daughter. And for me too taking her to this wonderful world! nasmeh
