Hi, I was hiking around there last weekend and have to say it was sinking deep already in the morning, so snowshoes or skis recommended if conditions stayed the same, crampons stayed in backpack that day. Of course this weekend much colder, so don't know.
Oh and couple pics how it was  .

Bojan A. deep sinking already from Črno jezero onwards, true I broke trail. Now track made, but quite deep and if you try running it won't be easy. You'll have high skipping .

Hi, anyone know conditions over Komarča, over Pršivec, past Vogar hut to Stara Fužina?
Any snow? 
Crampons needed? 
And info: how long such tour?

Last weekend we went over Komarča to Črno jezero and onwards to Komna. On the Komarča path there is some snow only at the top when the path levels out towards the lake. Towards Komna there were patches of snow here and there in shady spots. Crampons for Komarča are unnecessary, but I don't know further.

It's raining on Pršivec now, so the snow will slowly melt. Possibly new snow will fall soon.

Hi!
Has anyone been around here in the last few days?
End of next week (Friday) I plan to do a tour from Planina Blato through the valley to Prehodavci, if snow conditions are favorable then I'd close the loop along the ridge above the valley to the starting point.
From what I read in related topics from this area, there's probably still quite a bit of snow in the valley, higher on the peaks it's still real winter...

Today we were up there, over Komarča to Black Lake there's no snow, then it starts a bit here, a bit there, more snow only half an hour before the hut at Double Lake and it can sink up to a meter. But the path is trodden, snow is melting. Towards Komna there's also quite a bit of snow (up to a meter, on average about 30-50 cm), less before Komna itself. It's visibly melting, but it won't disappear that fast.
Otherwise conditions aren't that bad, but between Komna and Double Lake it's occasionally quite strenuous. From Komarča side it's fully recommendable excursion, if you're not afraid of snow at the end, no crampons needed.

It was planned all spring, but something always let us down, usually the weather. I only have Sundays free and this year the forecasts for weekends are worse... Well this time we made it, parking fees are already happily being collected, lots of cars at P, on the path we met three hikers... at every mountain pasture something is being built. Path is completely dry, we went up over Prode, a bit towards Komna and back to 7 Lakes hut and over Štapce. I went additionally to M. Tičarica (we forgot the camera at home, photos taken with mobile, can't get mine down). Weather was really on our side this time, divine views, warm, occasional light breeze which was quite welcomeNice tour, walked countless times but always enchants with various details...We'll be back

Nice little tour. Glad you found time. We had quite a bit to do with the alpine flower festival and watched the surrounding mountains only from the valley

Peter, we thought of you when we drove past... as every year it seems to me that this year too they advertise the festival a bit too little, at least no signs or markings were visible anywhere.. Shame, so much effort some put into it

On Wednesday we set off towards Double Lake from Blato, to which Bohinj locals are already diligently charging toll. Path without peculiarities, no animals on pastures yet, but full of alpine flowers. Over Štapc it blows us strongly, at Double Lake a little boat with biologists is rocking. Staff already in the hut, officially opens on Monday.
