for the 70th anniversary of PD CAI TARVISIO which takes place this year, we officially opened the Saxon King's trail yesterday after renovation of some sections with ropes/protections, markings etc. without any private or state/regional funding; mandatory gear is harness + helmet and safe step because the terrain along almost the entire trail section is very crumbly, happy trails. Already 6 years have passed since we repaired the path, time flies, just today late afternoon from Mrzla Voda valley I went to check the path and exactly the start of the secured part -your pic No.15- and I saw your tracks , thanks Lidija for info because I planned to check the Sella delle Cave pass too to see the situation for leading a group on the same tour as yours.

We got a report that path of life - via ferrata "via della vita" is closed due to torn rope from possible landslide/falling rocks a little before middle part of secured path, Alessio x PD CAI Tarvisio.

Was up yesterday afternoon, very little trodden and no track/trail for skiing, how is that possible as usually.... ;-) snow still quite enough and some exposed "meringes" on ridge, day was "gorgeous".

were there yesterday with team from PD Špetr/Cedad(FJK), weather so-so, company great, thanks to Preval and Roblek hut owners, paths nicely maintained (thanks trail markers) and best regards to Uroš.

thanks Gita for compliment, last year set up signs and repaired markings (at intersection with path 508 near forest hut Cima Muli together with CAI signs did you notice if perhaps the small AlpeAdriaTrail sign is still there? I ask because in some places of this path in Kanalska Dolina some stole them for "souvenir" and I have to check whole path again and repair where missing); known person/hunter was yesterday on top and says there is 15/20 cm. fresh, l.p.
