I like going alone to the mountains, since finding a suitable like-minded person who would enjoy equally, in the same direction, with similar fitness is far from easy

. Maybe with time I'll invite my children, but I don't know if they'll sense the same magic as I do when the day is etched by stripped larch storm pines or the fairy tale of rhododendron by the mountain path. Long ago I was an alpinist, survived some really sad (own) experiences, in between did many sports (mainly individual) and the mountains called me back via ski touring. Most mistakes happen on easy terrain due to ignorance, inexperience! That's eternal truth and a group can sometimes be a very deceptive herd....I prepare for the trip at home, today there's an exceptional amount of information compared to 20 years ago, I tell relatives where I'm going and report as soon as possible that I'm safely back.
