Also checked their price list on PD-Gorje website, bill is completely correct and matches price list. Dear turbo, it is true what you say, but abroad huts were built from commercial motives, here more than 100 years ago due to national consciousness, with shock work, out of love for the mountains and belonging to one's nation. Sadly, not much has changed for the better since then, or in step with the times.
When the owner is known, or management in private hands, then the huts will probably be open even on "judgment day", for one single reason, so that they can pay all taxes and obligations to the state. I can't help but comment on taubi4 regarding the chosen ones in the Prešeren Hut on Stol. They were people who came to install gutters so water collects for the opening in the summer season, and probably to do more that is needed for the start.
If only he turned on a bit of logic regarding the hut opening on nice weekends, he would realize that water is not piped, electricity is not wired, and the central heating button is not turned in the boiler room like at home.
