On Saturday, 30.11.2019, on Mirnock. Conditions ideal: sunny and no wind. Snow cover starting around 1800m was quite hard and didn't sink much. Despite sunny weather and nice views there wasn't a single visitor on the mountain! They obviously got scared of the snow...
Really nice tour also for winter days.

I don't see "Britev" because I don't have an active translator. In the original list it's of course Razor.

@dprapr: I just wish to see more entries from Slovenians on Slovenian peaks. If we're precise, there are no inconsistencies on Peakbagger - all lists are accurate and complete according to certain, stated criteria (as I already wrote for the example of the Slovenian two-thousanders list). All peaks in the database located on Slovenian territory have the Slovenian name in the description. The problem is only that the primary name visible in lists can be only one, and peaks on borders sometimes have Slovenian and sometimes foreign name - not all can have Slovenian primary name, otherwise foreign mountaineers would have the same problems. The peak search finds all peaks with Slovenian name and if you click on the peak name, other names and many other properties are shown.

My post was just a well-meaning advice for use - more of an app than a program. The lists themselves are not the main advantage, as they can be found elsewhere, the main useful advantage appears only after entering own ascents to peaks, when the ascent log is shown in a thousand and one ways, lots of personal stats and ultimately also progress on various peak lists, both in Slovenia and abroad. From my experience, the desire then arises to complete one of the lists and thus get lots of ideas for new trips...

Of course I don't twist anyone's arm to use it, everyone has to decide for themselves if it's interesting or not. But of course it's always easier to find flaws that are everywhere than to focus on the positive side...

On this list only the numbered peaks are relevant, the others are more or less random remaining two-thousanders in the database. Only above 2500m should all be included, even subsidiary peaks.

The above lists of two-thousanders are both very extensive and contain quite a few peaks with minimal relative height (simplified: prominence above surroundings), some of them even have relative height 0, meaning they are not really peaks at all. In the Peakbagger list of Slovenian two-thousanders, all Slovenian peaks over 2000m with at least 100m relative height are included - so it's a collection of main or more important two-thousanders without subsidiary peaks. Interesting and somewhat atypical are also lists of the most prominent (Slovenian) peaks by relative height, where we find beautiful and usually very panoramic peaks that are sometimes less crowded due to their lower height (e.g. because they don't qualify as two-thousanders). Otherwise, there are probably not many heroes who have reached all 94 Slovenian two-thousanders from the Peakbagger list ( https://www.peakbagger.com/list.aspx?lid=2360 )...

My heart hurts when I see on the "mountain" app among thousands of Americans and English only a handful of Slovenian users, who are known as a nation of mountaineers...

For all passionate collectors of Slovenian and foreign peaks I recommend the Peakbagger app or related portal www.peakbagger.com Before using the app I wasn't really an avid peak bagger, now I am because of it.

Besides good overview of (un)reached peaks it offers many interesting peak lists in Slovenia and abroad by various criteria, geographic locator is an excellent source of tips for trips to nearby peaks wherever you are.

10 days ago there were still small snow patches in the valley behind Kopica, but they could already be crossed without issues and without winter gear (knee-deep). Now there shouldn't be any problems - probably no snow patches left.

Great, so this is really a unique opportunity to help also those who due to the economic situation cannot contribute otherwise!

Maybe there's also an option to allocate part of the income tax at the end of the year specifically for this purpose, so probably designate PD Matica Celje as the recipient? I know this option already exists for PZS. This way with the right "marketing" campaign the number of people willing to help in this way would greatly increase (since actually nothing would need to be given from one's own pocket)...

Today on Storžič - up through Žrelo and down via Škarjev rob. In Žrelo still one small snowfield (ca. 2 meters), which doesn't cause any problems even without ice axe and can be fully bypassed. Škarjev rob is completely dry.

Has anyone been through Žrelo or Škarjev rob recently? Are the paths completely bare already? Is ice axe still needed anywhere?
