You'll find few drillers in our hills; that's why there's no such visitation/rush as across the border, although weekenders' tendencies to drill are also appearing in the hills, but no need to worry about that here. Otherwise, regarding aesthetics/amount of iron, driller vs. ferrata - no comparison. It would be interesting to see visitor numbers on Triglav if we sawed off all that iron... if we can't restore the original state after they adapted it with dynamite for mass tourism.

Better start climbing than dragging on these forced cables.. And no the environment doesn't need new buses of ferrata climbers.

Already from the maintenance perspective the design of the upper project is bad.. too much exposed wood which will be a joy to paint every couple of years up there.. especially with no overhangs and water dripping freely on the facade - stains guaranteed + price of fancy wooden facades isn't small..

I always look with amazement at hikers with 30-40l backpacks stuffed to the brim for day hikes or overnight in huts.. Obviously it goes like this, the bigger the backpack the more unnecessary stuff gets packed in - but then the problem is carrying it up the hill.. Every extra kg of unnecessary junk in the backpack means more fatigue and consequently less secure steps, especially if there's no basic fitness..
Accidents are more due to higher traffic and popularization of mountaineering..especially winter.

Teranova is climbable.. it's delicate and thin, climbed 26.12.

I'm also interested Given this year's poor snow the road should be close to passable..
