Interested in circular route;

Start Razpotje - ascent to Medrce - return via Porezen and continue to Cimprovka along the ridge to start. Timings and peculiarities.

If memory serves, they put the cross on Brana in August 1996. It was blessed by the Dovški parish priest Franc Urbanija, I think on 17 August.

It's a fairly big tongue in one of the gullies. Maybe bypass it on left side, right under the top of the "tongue" there's a hole where you can get to the other side and then descend to secured path. Advise against crossing snow without proper gear. I was there Aug 8 around eight.

"IgorZlodej", if I get you right, you went via Kanjavčeve police. Are they normally passable?

It happened to me too that I got food they hadn't even properly defrosted. At Vogar I now treat myself only to beer.

I'm a very frequent visitor to Polhograjci. Years ago one day I saw two small adders by the path to Grmada. Otherwise never. I have relatives who live directly under Jeterbenk and they say that on the sunny slopes of Jeterbenk vipers like to stay, but those areas are off the hiking trails and there are no dangers at all. And I wish you safe steps.

My suggestion. To Stol from Austria. Over Ljubelj into the valley, right towards Medvedji dol. Just before Celovška koča right, over the scree and then into the wall on excellently secured climbing tour. Perfect for a nice autumn day.

I haven't tried the route to Košutnikov turn yet and can't judge. Surely the tour to Cjajnik is quite longer. But I talked to the Carinthians we met on top of Cjajnik. They said the climbing route to KT is quite less demanding. For the exact feel, you'll have to try it. Wish you safe steps.

Me and my friend Marko tackled Cjajnik together on Sunday, September 27th. A little before 7am we set off from in front of Košuta house above the village of Sele, on the Austrian side of Košuta. To the entry into "Cjajnik" you go through the forest and climb a nasty scree slope, that part takes about an hour. Then into the wall, in full battle gear. Cjajnik right away shows it's not to be trifled with. Lots of willpower and especially arm strength needed for progress. At some spots you almost have to clip into thin air. Anyway, warning for good strong arms that carry the main load through the whole tour. Excellent route that doesn't end at the top of Cjajnik, you have to descend, which is also more than demanding. We continued to Košuta, along the ridge to Košutnikov turn and descended to Dolge Njive, where transport was waiting for us back to the start. For some days I can't log in to PZS and subsequently to forum. Looks like I'm not the only one.

I walked the mentioned path a week ago, as did many others I met that day. The path around Tosca is completely normally passable, with one snow patch right before Vodnik hut, which also causes no problems. The rock slide is fully repaired, no trace of it except the info sign. I wish you a safe path.
