Those who hike to Vrata a lot surely know how to get cheapest early morning to Aljažev dom (on foot I know) .. sadly I'm alone and wouldn't pay 20€ for a few-hour visit to this wonderful valley.. where to park and reliability of van or bus transport?

Darinka, congrats on the ascent. Did you notice if it's possible somewhere higher up to get down to fill up with water? Or is the last chance at the little bridge

Thanks to both for the reply. I took my wife so I was afraid to explore as nowhere on the map did I see a marked path We went down to Škrbina then around on the Bohinj side to Globoko pass. Wonderful lonely places next time along the ridge best regards Marko

@ fapo how's the traceability or beaten path from peak above Škrbina to Meja or further to bivouac Globoko? Was there a couple days ago on peak above Škrbina and saw beaten fully marked trail towards Globoko ridge. Lp
